About

We are a third generation family farm, our children are the fourth generation, it's wonderful to have this connection to the land we farm and care for.                                                                                                         We are a traditional Organic mixed & dairy farm in the Teifi valley, near Llandysul, West Wales. A herd of 100 dairy cows graze the fields and pastures around the farm producing wonderfully creamy organic milk, we keep a very small flock of hens for eggs, our son has a handful of sheep and a few goats.

Our Farm

We organically farm 240 acres, the fields in front of the hut & cabin belong to us and our boundary is the little stream at the bottom called 'Nant Siedi' you're welcome to go for a walk, we kindly ask that you leave any gates as you find them, so if they're shut then please close them after you and if open, leave them open. It is not advised to go in any fields with cows that have young calves with them as they are very protective.

Family farm

My husband's grandparents bought the farm in the 1950's they were tenant farmers in England, they moved to Wales as they were able to afford a farm here.

My Parents in-law took over the farm in the 1980's and we now farm it.

Animals

We're primarily an Organic Dairy farm and keep approximately 180 cows Frisians crossed Swedish red. Our son has a handful of Welsh sheep, a small flock of hens, a few goats, a few dogs and two cats.

Hut & Cabin

The Hut and Cabin have been here for nearly 13 years being run as glamping accommodation. One of the highlights of staying here is the wonderful opportunity to get away from all the busyness of life and switch off!

Coastal towns

We are very fortunate to only be a 30 minute drive away from the coast, giving many opportunities to visit the various little towns and villages. To name a few are Aberaeron, New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith, Penbryn, Aberporth, Mwnt Poppit.

Walking

There are many lovely places to go for a walk, the old railway line down in the village of Pentrecwrt by Alltcafan bridge, Henllan river walk, a walk around the Castle at Newcastle Emlyn or by the river Teifi at Cenarth.

Breathtaking

There is a coastal footpath along the whole coastline of Wales
